Global Entrepreneurship Week 2016
Blackpool Council launches “Research your Idea” to ensure Business Start Up Success
Blackpool Council is launching a unique initiative across the whole of Blackpool during Global Entrepreneurship Week, utilising its library facilities, to provide a drop in facility for any Blackpool resident that is considering starting their own business.
The Get Started service, based at The Enterprise Centre, is now in its 10th year and has assisted over 1,000 businesses to start trading.
The Get Started message has always been “Anyone can start a business. All you need is an idea, an opportunity, and the will to make it happen.
Whether you are someone that has an interest in crafts and fancy selling your work online; someone that enjoys gardening and can offer a garden tidying facility; practical skills such as building/ carpentry and can offer a handyman service; able to offer a cleaning service for domestic homes or even commercial premises; A passion for It or Social Media and can help businesses develop their online presence. The list is endless and does not mean that you would need qualifications of any description, in many cases, to be successful.
Realise your dream.
Get Started in conjunction with Blackpool Libraries are offering the chance to explore your business idea online, in a friendly atmosphere together with help should you need it.
